Answers to frequently asked questions about our day tours and booking these tours online. If your question is not answered below, please contact us.
Q: Do you only offer day tours?
A: No. We are a fully fledged travel company that arranges all aspects of travel in Africa, especially Southern Africa - i.e. Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique & South Africa. We offer day tours, safaris, self-drive tours, car hire and accommodation.
A: Yes, we are happy to tailor-make trips for you.
Q: Do you offer multi-day tours?
A: Yes - and if you do not find the tour you are after, we can arrange tailor-made tours to suite your needs.
Q: Are your rates competitive?
A: Yes. We strive to bring you value for money tours.
Q: Where can I convert the tour cost into my own currency?
A: Use this currency converter to change amounts into your own currency.
Q: What's the maximum number of people per tour?
A: You can book as many as 16 people per vehicle on a tour. The number of people allowed on a tour depends on the tour. See specific tour information or contact us.
Q: Are your day tours suitable for seniors?
A: Yes. Cultural, scenic, safari and fly in day tours are especially suitable for seniors. We use comfortable and luxury vehicles on our tours and maintain high levels of safety.
Q: Can I book a tour as a single traveller?
A: Yes. We welcome single travellers on our tours.
Q: Are your tours child friendly?
A: Yes. Some tours more so than others. Some of the adventure tours and certain activities are subject to age restrictions. Ask our travel consultants about these.
Q: Will food be included in the day tour package?
A: Sometimes meals are included on the day tours, depending on the tour. Please read the tour information on this website or contact us for clarification.
Q: Do you cater for special diets on your tours?
A: Yes. We need to be informed of any special meal requirements beforehand so that we can do our best to cater for you.
Q: Do you offer tours in languages other than English?
A: Yes. But these need to be specifically requested and arranged. The cost of the tour may differ depending on the tour or the language.
Q: Do you have an office where I can speak to a travel consultant?
A: Yes. We are based in Cape Town, South Africa. View map and directions.
Q: Where do the tours depart from and return to?
A: You will be collected and dropped off at your hotel, lodge or hostel.

Q: Can I book a tour on your website?
A: Yes!
A: There are 3 ways to book a tour:
A: Yes. After adding tours to the shopping cart, the last step in the "check out" process is to make payment. You are not required to make payment online, but if you are happy with the tours you've selected, then paying online is quick and easy.
A: Yes. We utilises a 128 bit Secure Payment Gateway (iVeri) administered by Nedbank South Africa for all online transactions. Nedbank uses a SSL certificate from Verisign.
Q: Which credit cards do you accept?
A: We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club credit cards.
Q: How can I pay for my tour(s), if I do not have a credit card, or I do not wish to pay online?
A: You can pay by bank transfer (EFT) into our bank account. Please note that we require 2-3 working days for the money to clear, before we can confirm your booking. Transfers from banks outside of South Africa can take even longer.
Q: How far in advance do I need to book?
A: You need to book at least four days in advance (if you are paying online). We do this to ensure that we have enough time to confirm availability on the tour(s). In most cases, we can confirm immediately, but in high-season we require advance warning to avoid disappointment.
Q: Can I cancel once I have booked?
A: Yes, but please cancel at least 48-hours in advance of your trip date.
Q: Is there a cancellation fee?
A: We give a full refund for cancellations confirmed 24-hours before tour departure time. We do not offer refunds for cancellation within 24-hours of departure time. We do not offer refunds for "no shows".
Q: Is it possible to book in advance?
A: Yes, of course. We encourage you to book in advance as that enables us to ensure that there is enough space for you on the day tour you choose.
